Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this complete Blue & White Spongeware Staffordshire Tea Set.  
 
It was made by Charles Atherton & Sons, England. Charles Allerton was in business from 1859 to 1942 in Longton, England.  The mark on this set was used from 1890-1912.
 
This beauty features the Teapot with Lid, Sugar Bowl with Lid, Creamer, 6 Cups and Saucers with Underplates, and the Waste Bowl.   It is all here!  New to the market from a private collection. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the seating ring on the underside of the teapot, a minor nibble on the seating ring of the sugar bowl, and a glaze rub on the side of the waste bowl.  Otherwise as made.  
 
How often do you see a complete kid's tea set from 150 years ago!
