Item 4557

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Pair of Cast Iron Still Banks in the form oa Skyscrapers.

These were made by A. C. Wiliams of Ravenna, Ohio from 1900-1931 (Andy & Susan Moore, The Penny Bank Book, 3rd ed., p. 120). These came in four sizes.  These are the smallest and the next to the largest sizes.

They reflect America's fascination with skyscrapers at the beginning of the 20th century.

These beauties are Bank Buildings of 9 and 12 stories respectively.  They measure 3 1/2" and 5 1/2" to the top of the posts respectively.

Very Good Condition. Both retain most of their original silver and gold paint.  The center screw in the smaller bank appears to be a replacement.
