Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Crock Lid Embossed "Lyons, N.Y." 
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tiered Tooled Edge and Embossed Lettering.  It measures 13 1/2" wide and fits in an opening at least 11" wide.  I would guess it fits a 5 gallon crock or larger.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A faint 5" hairline from the rim (closeup), and wear and two 1/2" chips on the bottom of the seating ring.  No edge chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
