Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Root Beer Mug made by the Whites of Utica Pottery for "Hire's Root Beer." 
 
Dating to 1890-1907, this piece is a wonderful example of the skill that the Whites Pottery had gained in molded stoneware during those years. 
 
This beauty features a Treebark Background Hosting the Advertising "Hire's Root Beer" on the Front. A woven twigs form the top and bottom borders, and a tree branch creates the handle. Measures 5 1/4" tall. 
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
