Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stick Spatter Earthenware Soup Bowl.

It is stamped on the bottom, "Felindanva" (I might be a letter off), but I cannot find any information on line.

This beauty looks like those made in Wales in the 19th century as shown in Henry Kelly and Arnold and Dorthy Kowalsky, Spongeware 1835-1935, pp. 20-22.

This beauty features a Double Blue Stripe Border Framing Red Flowers, and a Center Cockerel in Blue, Red, and Burnt Orange on a Green Foreground.  Has an opening made in the footer to allow hanging on the wall.  Measures 9 1/2" wide and 2" deep.

Good Condition.  Glaze flakes around the edge (closeup) and bottom of the footer.

    Ships double-boxed, insured, and FREE.
