Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Merchant Jug made for "The City Hardware & Supply Company, 10526-10530 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio." 
 
This beauty features a Two-Toned Glaze and a Rectangular Stencil with Five Lines of Advertising.  It is not common to find hardware stores advertised on stoneware.  Stands 12" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. A 1/2" chip on the front at the bottom and light staining on the back at the bottom.  That's it.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
