Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous 6 Gallon Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Circa 1865, this beauty features Top to Bottom Freehand Decoration.  A stripe and a row of 29 dots grace the rim.  A stripe and attached drape decorate the shoulder.  A wavy vine with three dotted fuchsia undulates across the top.  A stripe centers the middle.  Below a wavy stripe and two wavy stripes with 33 dots inbetween frame the capacity number flanked by three tornadoes on each side.  Another vine cascades across the base while a wavy and straight stripe complete the decoration.  Stands 17 1/2" tall.

Very Good Condition.  A few stain runs, chipping along the front half of the right handle, and a single glued wedge on the bottom of the right side.  It is 7" long (closeups of side and bottom).  No other apologies.

I value this in mint condition around $8000.  I am pricing it at 35% of that due to the apology.
