Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Circa 1800 Metallic Grandfather Clock Face from England.
It is signed "Crosland" and comes from "Wakefield," England.
This beauty features Handpainted Decoration that features a Lady Seated by Some Cargo by the Water's Edge with a Ship off to the Left and Cows and Horses in the Frame around the Clock Face.
Measures 18 1/2" tall and 13" wide.
Some has glued a hook on the back so that it can be hung up as a piece of art.
It was purchased in 1987 from R. Jorgensen Antiques in Wells, Maine for $210. The receipt is included with the clock face.
Good Condition. Some wear and crackling to the paint, but with little loss.
