Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this attractive Blue and White Spongeware 8 3/4" Plate made and stamped on the bottom by the "Burford Bros., E. L. O."
 
This is the mark off the Burford Brothers of East Liverpool, Ohio. 
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty sports the Distinctive Sponging of the Burford Factory.  Looks like Jackson Pollock got his inspiration here!  Dark cobalt on a cream background for strong eye appeal.  8 3/4" in diameter. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Overall fine glaze crazing from age.  Otherwise as made.
