Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Wash Basin.
Dating around 1890 this beauty features a Flared Rim, Slanted Sides, Footer, Embossed Ribbon and Lyre-Like Design, and Rich and Patterned Cobalt Sponging. Probably made in Ohio. Measures 4 1/4" tall and 15" in diameter.
Very Good Condition. A 2" chip on the edge/underside of the rim with some repair that is partially chipped out (closeup), and some minor chips on the footer. No hairlines, cracks, or stains.
