    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware Shaving Mug in the Bowknot Pattern.


    It was introduced in 1908 as part of a wash set called Lucile Toilet Ware and made by the Brush Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio.  See Martha and Steve Sanford, The Guide to Brush-McCoy Pottery, p. 10.


    This beauty features a Ribbed Form with an Embossed Bowknot on the Shoulder on Each Side.  Diffused blue coloration.  Stands 4" tall.


    Very Good Condition.  A 1/4" chip inside the rim and minor nibbles around the base which are partly in the making.  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
