This pattern is uncommon and one of the most detailed of all blue and white butter crocks. It is discussed in Terry Taylor and Terry & Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, pp. 117.

Excellent Condition. A single 1/4" chip inside the rim.   That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
