Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Uncommon Blue and White Butter Crock in a Geometric Pattern.
Dating around 1900-1920, the base features an Embossed Border of Rectangles around the Top and a Border of Grooves at the Base that Shadows the Top Border. The lid features an embossed keystone-shaped border with imposed circular band and a floral knob. Diffused blue coloration on both base and lid. The lid fits loosely, but it is the original. Measures 3 1/4" tall and 6 1/2" wide.
As you know, this is an uncommon pattern.
Very Good Condition. The base is as made. There is Y line inside at the bottom that is in the making, glazed over, and not visible outside. No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. The lid has five chips on the underside at the edge (1/8" to 1/2"). No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
