Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Raisins Canister with Lid  in the Basketweave and Morning Glory Pattern.

 

This beauty was made by the Brush McCoy Pottery and is featured in Taylor and Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, on pp. 194-197.

 

Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features an Intricate Basketweave Pattern with "Raisins" in a Banner Embossed on the Front and a Morning Glory on the Back.  Stands 5 1/2" tall.

 

Excellent Condition.  The jar has a minor 1/8" nibble inside the rim as shown.  Otherwise, as made.  The lid  No damage of any kind. The lid has small nibbles and 3/8" chip on the underside edge.  No top edge chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
