Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made and stamped by the Beaumont Pottery, of York, Maine.
 
It is the work of Jerry Beaumont who inscribed his cross and the date of 1985 on the bottom.  In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  His work from York, Maine was some of his finest--like this one.  
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and a House with an Apple Tree and Fence to its Left and a Fence to its Right.  Most unusual is that it was "Decorated by Mrs. Mary Jane Beaumont." Stands 8 1/2" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of  any kind.
