Coming to you from Doc's Crocks are 2 Blue and White Pitchers for 1 Money.
Dating to the early 20th century, these beauties feature Diffused Blue Coloration. Both are illustrated in Terry Taylor and Terry and Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encycloedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, p. 68.
The pitcher on the left is as made. No damage. Does have a 1" stone ping inside that created a divot on the bottom edge in the making (closeup). Stands 8 1/2" tall
The pitcher on the right has some staining inside and a 1/4" ping on the base. No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. A piece extra clay on the rim in the making.
