Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Stein with Pewter Lid
 
The lid is etched on the top with the Initials "A. K." and on the underside with the date "1860".  The bottom of the stein is stamped with the initials "A. K."
 
This beauty features a Two Fancy Debossed Double Cobalt Stripes with Center Embossed Beading, and a Hinged Pewter Lid with Ball Thumbgrip.  Stands 4 7/8" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  The stoneware is as made with typical manufacturing imperfections to include a drying line on the underside in the making. The lid is loose on the handle and can slide down when open.
