Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Staffordshire Red Spatterware Cup and Saucer
Dating around 1830, this beauty features a Peafowl Decoration in Blue, Yellow, and Green, with a Red Spatter filling all the available space. The cup is handleless and measures 2 1/2" tall and 4" wide. The saucer is 5 3/4" wide.
Excellent Condition. The cup has a single pinhead-size nibble on the rim above the peafowl's head. Otherwise as made. The saucer has a few short scratches on the interior bottom. Otherwise as made. A 3/16" piece of extra clay inside in the making.
