    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Handleless Cup and Saucer.

     

    Circa 1830, this piece is an Early Staffordshire Spongeware Piece with Blue, Red and White Sponging.  Shiny Glaze.  The cup measures 2 1/2" tall and 4" wide, and the saucer is 6".

     

    Excellent Condition.  Very minor glaze scratches.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A line in the glaze on the footer (closeup) and another on the side in the sponging in the making.
