Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Staffordshire Spatterware Cup Plate with Eagle and Shield Decoration. 
 
Circa 1830 this beauty featues 10 Sides, Blue Spatter Border, and Center Black Transfer of a Mighty Eagle with Arrows in His Talons and Posed in Front of a Shield with 13 Stars representing the 13 Colonies.  Measures 3 3/4" in diameter.
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor surface wear.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A pinhead-size nibble on the edge is in the making and glazed over.
