Coming to you from Doc's Crocks it this wonderful 12 1/4" Redware Plate with Recessed Decoration in a Pinwheel Pattern. 
 
It was made and signed on the bottom, "Jr Bel Breininger, Robesonia, PA, 8-7-1979.  Lovely Summer Day. #3 Swirling Swastica." The Breininger Pottery made fine Redware in the old Pennsylvania tradition. 
 
This beauty features a Pinwheel Decoration with Recessed Red Blades Alternating with Green Slip Swipes-- All Centered Around a Red Center Circle with Encased Black Dot Border.  The Crimped Outer Edge Features a Border of Recessed Half Circles with Alternating Black Dots.  The history is incised on the back.  Measures 12 1/4" in diameter.   
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
