    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this most unusual Staffordshire Mug with Rainbow Sponging.  


    Dating around 1830, this Mug Features a Squatty Form with Short Tapered Rim, Bulbous Body, Short Footer, and Rainbow Sponging.  This is a transitional piece from spatterware to spongeware and features circular cut sponging with red on the rim, green in the middle and blue on the bottom.  Measures 2 3/4" tall and 4" wide in the middle.


    Excellent Condition. A single faint 3/8" hairline at the rim on one side that shows only 3/16" inside.  That's it!  No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
