Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Rectangular Baking Dish.  
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Classic Form with Rich Cobalt Sponging. Measures 9 3/4" long, 8" wide, and 2" deep. As you know, these dishes were used in the oven and very few survive such extreme and daily use. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Light surface wear on the inside bottom from use and glaze wear on the bottom edges. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Slightly uneven on the bottom in the making.
