Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Batter Jug made and stamped by "A. L. Hyssong, Bloomsburg, PA."  
 
This is the work of Austin Hyssong who made stoneware in Bloomsburg using this stamp from 1891 to 1914 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, p. 32). 
 
This beauty features the Batter Jug Form, Cinnamon-Colored Glaze, Pottery Stamp, and Bail Handle.  Stands 11 3/8" tall.
 
Very Good Condition with Restoration.  A couple 1/8" nibbles on the rim.  Restoration to the top 1" of the spout (closeups).  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or stains.
