Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Splendid Blue and White Spongeware Serving Bowl.
 
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty has a Clockwise Swirl Patten with Deep Cobalt Blue Spoinging.  Measures 9 1/2' wide and 2" deep.
 
As a spongeware collector, I look for pieces like this all the time and have only found four of these in the past 10 years.
 
Very Good Condition.  Glaze wear to the top of some of the ridges of the raised swirl pattern and some short utensil marks.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
