Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Matching Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher and Bowl.
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Pitcher and Bowl with Matching Blue and White Sponging and Center Blue and White Stripes. The pitcher has a "scoup" spout, bulbous body, and footer. The bowl has matching sponging from the rim to a stripe inside about halfway down, a center circle of spoinging inside at the bottom. The pitcher stands 12" tall and the bowl is 15" wide.
Excellent Condition. The pitcher has glaze wear and a minor nibble at the spout. Otherwise as made. The bowl has a narrow 1" glaze wear spot on the rim. Othewise mint. Neither piece has any base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
