Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jug made for "M. F. Reynolds, Manufacturer of Linseed Oil; White Lead & Zinc in Oil; Sash, Doors, and Blinds, 5 & 7 Buffalo St., Rochester, N.Y." 
 
Dating around 1860, this little Jug has 7 Lines of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash.  The jug is special for its 1/2 gallon size and very unusual advertising!   Stands 9 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A couple minor nibbles and some staining around the base.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A small stone ping on the underside of the spout on the right in the making.
