Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Little Yellow Ware Match Safe and Striker.
Dating to the late 19th Century, this piece features a Small Match Holder with Bennington Glaze atop an Unglazed Base Molded with a Rough Surface for Striking Matches. Measures 2 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" wide at the base.
Good Condition. A faint hairline from the base rim to the center (picture of the bottom at 6 o'clock), and some staining from use. No chips or restoration.
