Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Spongeware Jug.
Dating around 1900, this beauty features a Yellow Glaze with Cobalt Sponging. Stands 10 3/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. Some minor nibbles and a couple chips on the platform (1/4" 1/2"), a short 2" vertical inbody line on the left side that may or may not go through (closeup), a flat 1" chip on the underside at the edge, and a couple of stains from use. No spout chips or restoration.
