Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 1/2" Mini Motto Jug.  
 
This beauty reads, "Motto Jug. 'I Am Always Welcome Wherever I Go."  Detrick Distilling Company, Dayton, Ohio."
 
This Dayton company made a series of a dozen Motto Jugs around 1900, one without a border around the motto in large letters and one with a border in small letters.  These jugs have retained their popularity with collectors due to their small size and humorous mottos.
 
This example is from the series with a border around the motto and the motto in small letters.  Comes with the original paper label on the back.  Stands 4 1/2" tall. 
 
This is one of the harder-to-find mottos in the series.
 
Excellent Condition.  Two 1/8" scratches on the left side.  That's it!  No spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
