    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Wash Basin.


    Dating around 1890 this beauty features a Flared Rim, Slanted Sides, Footer, and Rich and Patterned Cobalt Sponging.  Probably made in Ohio.  Measures 4" tall and 14 1/2" in diameter.  


    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A 1" drying line at the rim (closeup 1) and two chips on the footer from impurities in the clay (closeup 2)--all in the making.
