Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Sugar Bowl.
 
The sponging is distinctive of the Burford Brothers of East Liverpool, Ohio. They were in business from 1879 to 1904 (eastliverpoolhistoricalsociety.org/burford.htm).  
 
Circa 1900, this beauty features a Graceful Bulbous Form with Fancy Handles, and Blue and White Sponging.  Stands 5 1/4" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  Two 1/4" chips and minor nibbles around the inside of the rim from use with a lid.  Light staining inside at the bottom and outside on the underside.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
