Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Blue and White Country Spongeware Pitcher. 
 
Circa 1880-1900, this beauty features a Tall Rim, Bulbous Base, Graceful Handle, and Blue Sponged Decoration.  Five horizontal stripes composed of a series of dots create a visual delight.  Additional dots adorn the handle.  Stands 9" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Two small flakes inside the rim (1/8", 1/4") and one outside by the handle (1/4").  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.   A narrow 3/4" clay void on the body in the making.
