Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Wash Basin.
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features Careful Blue and White Sponging that Wraps around the Rim to a Stripe Around the Inside, and Outside the Sponging Goes to the Bottom with Two Blue and White Stripes Adding Decoration.  A center circle of sponging inside the bowl completes the decoration.  Measures 4 1/2" tall and 14" wide.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A 1" chip on the underside of the rim, and two chips on the underside of teh footer (1/4", 3/4").  They are 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock in the closeup respectively.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
