Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Blue and White Spongeware Serving Bowl.  
 
Dating to the second half of the 19th century, it came in at least three sizes.  This is the largest size that I have seen at 9 1/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" tall.  
 
This beauty features a Scalloped Edge with Embossed Scrolled Decoration, Paneled Interior, and Rich Cobalt Sponging.   
 
Excellent Condition.  Very, very few utensil marks, and a 1/4" chip on the underside of the rim (closeup).  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
