Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Bowl.
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Fluted Rim with Cobalt Stripe, and Vertical Rounded Ridges on the Side with Patterned Sponging. The sponging is in a dark and rich cobalt. Measures 3 3/4" tall and 10 1/4" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Some minor chipping on the footer (closeup). That's it! No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
