Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this most unusual Blue and White Spongeware Cuspidor Spittoon.
 
Circa 1900, this beauty features an Embossed Diamond Background with Scroll Work Top and Bottom, Accompanied by Four Rows of Horseshoe Pattern Stripes-- one inside and three outside.  
 
I have never seen this configuration of embossing and sponging before on a piece like this.  
 
Good Condition.  A single hairline in the rim as shown (closeup). No chips, stains, or restoration.
