Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Covered Soap Dish.
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Base with Three Blue Stripes around the Middle and Rich Cobalt Sponging, as well as and a Matching Lid with the Same Stripes and Sponging, but in a Pinwheel Pattern Around the Knob. Measures 6 1/2" wide and 3" tall.
Excellent Condition. The base is as made. The lid has a 1/2" chip on the top edge. Otherwise as made.
