Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Covered Casserole Dish.
Circa 1900, this beauty features a Thick Rim for Ease of Stacking, Rounded Body, and Rich Cobalt Sponging. The lid is Domed and Adorned with Rich Cobalt Sponging. The base measures 5" tall and 10 1/4" wide.
Excellent Condition. The base has a narrow flat 1/2" chip inside the rim. The lid has a 3/8" chip on the inner seating ring. Otherwise, both pieces are as made.
