Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Bowl.
 
Dating around 1900, this beauty features a Rolled Rim with Cobalt Striping, Tapered Sides with Footer, and Controlled Sponging Inside and Outside the Rim. Measures 11 1/2" in diameter and 5 1/2" tall. 
 
Not a typical spongeware bowl.
 
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" chip on the rim and footer. That's it! No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Tripod marks inside at the bottom, 2" surface drying line at the rim imside (closeup), and about a half dozen 1/8" scattered stone pings-- all in the makiing.
