Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped for the merchant, "A. B. Wheeler & Co., 69 Broad Street, Boston, Mass."  
 
The decoration indicates that this piece was probably made in Fort Edward, N.Y. around 1880.
 
This beauty features the Company Advertising Crisply Impress and Washed with Cobalt Wash on the Front and a Bright Cobalt Freehand Triple Leaf Decoration.  Stands 14" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A faint horizontal line through the handle (closeup).  No chips, body hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 1 1/2" drying/firing line on the left side bottom, and some small bubbles in the thickest portions of the cobalt as shown.
