Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous Hires Root Beer Mug that reads on the bottom, "Made in Germany for the Charles E . Hires Company by Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach." 
 
Dating around 1900, this beauty features the Slogan, "Drink Hires Rootbeer" Spoken by a Young Lad Holding this Same Mug! Wonderful colored graphics. A dark line inside about a 1/4" from the bottom marks the syrup fill line. Stands 4 1/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Some light staining inside from use.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, outer staining, or restoration.
