Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Wonderful Spatterware Saucer in the Castle and Tepee Pattern.
This piece is pictured and discussed in Earl and Ada Robacker, Spatterware and Sponge, pp. 35, 47.
Dating to the first third of the 19th century, this plate features a Red Stripe Trim with a Two Castle Towers and 4 Tepees in Red Framed by Trees. Wonderful eye appeal. Measures 5 7/8" in diameter.
Excellent Condition. Fine glaze crazing of age. No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
