Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Victorian Yellow Ware Woven Candy Dish. 
 
These were made in England in the 19th century.  See the picture of one in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book !, p. 112. 
 
This beauty features an Elaborate Form of Woven Strips of Clay with a Center Cartouche of a Soldier and a Double Ring around the Middle.  Measures 5" in diameter.  
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Two 1/8" surface drying lines in the making and glazed over (closeup).
