    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 8" Stoneware Wax Sealer Canning Jar made by "T. F. Reppert, Greensboro, Pa." 


    Thomas Reppert made pottery solo in Greensboro from 1884-1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 157-159).  


    This beauty features a Tooled Rim with Groove for Pouring the Hot Wax to Seal the Jar with a Tin Cap, Canted Sides, and the Company Advertising Framing a Floral and Accented with Leaves on the Corners.  Crisp stenciling on a light gray glaze.  Stands 8" tall.  


    Excellent Condition.  Two 1/8" nibbles on the inner rim.  That's it!  No top rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
