Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon 1/2 Gallon Jug made for "M. Maynadier, Fancy Groceries, 404 N. Calvert St., Baltimore, MD." 
 
Dating arond 1870, this beauty features the less common 1/2 Gallon Size with Four Lines of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash.  Stands 9 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Two adjacent pinhead-size chips on the body below the advertising, and a narrow 1/4" chip on the base.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
