    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Stylish Blue and White Staffordshire Pitcher.  

     

    Dating to the early 19th century, this beauty features a Flamboyant Flared Spout, Fancy and Equally Flamboyant Handle, Bulbous Base, and Fine Blue Sponging all Around.   Stands 9 1/4" tall. 

     

    Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the bottom of the tip of the handle that is partly in the making and glazed over.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The seam down the front is slightly open and looks like a hairline, but is in the making (closeup).
