Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 4 Gallon Jar with Profuse Decoration from Baltimore, Maryland. 
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Squared Rim, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accent, and a Large Double-Stemmed Clover on Each Side.  Each floral has 4 base leaves and a stem with 4 more leaves and two blossoms with three petals each.  The floral on the front has an additional two clovers on the right stem.  All the brushed cobalt is bright and shiny on a light gray background for strong contrast.  Stands 15 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A flat 1/2" chip on top of the rim; two chips outside the rim (1/8", 1/2"), the larger above one ear having a surface ping beside it; a flat 1/2" flake on one handle, and a 3/8" chip at the base.  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
