Coming to from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Butter Crock with Lid.

This piece is pictured in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I on p. 75.

Dating about 1900, this beauty features Alternating 1 Brown, 2 White, and 1 Brown Stripe on the Lid and Base. Even has the original lid! Measures 5 1/4" tall and 7 1/4" wide.

Excellent Condition. The base has a few small and light stains inside the rim.  That is it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, outer stains, or restoration.  Some bubbles in the glaze on the bottom in the making. The lid only has the tripod marks top and bottom from the making.

An exceptional example.
