Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Pitcher and Bowl.
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Graceful Pitcher and Bowl with Generous Daubs of Rockingham Glaze. The yellow and brown combination really makes a strong and pleasing visual contrast. The set is diminuative, being more or a child's size. The pitcher stands 8 1/4" to the top of the spout and the bowl measures 3" tall and 9 1/4" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. The pitcher has a 3/4" chip inside the rim back by the handle, a 1 1/2" hairline from the rim in the center of the side with the spout facing right, and a 1/4" chip in the body and on the footer. No stains or restoration. The bowl has glaze wear around the rim. No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Four 1/2" firing lines on the rim in the making.
